ABSTRACT

Vibrio splendidus is an opportunistic pathogen in aquaculture. It can infect a variety of aquaculture animals and has caused huge losses to the aquaculture industry. In this study, a novel and efficient method for detecting V. splendidus was developed by combining the exonuclease Ⅲ amplification strategy with a nucleic acid test strip developed based on gold nanoparticles-labeled DNA probe. The results could be directly visualized by naked eyes, and this system overcame the difficulty in preparation of the monoclonal antibody used in conventional immunostrip. Upon optimization of experimental conditions, the detection limit of the strip was 5 ng/mL for the synthetic oligonucleotide DNA fragment and 10 ng/mL for the actual genomic DNA sample of V. splendidus. This test strip was more sensitive compared with the PCR method and was specific for the detection of V. splendidus. The rapid preparation of nucleic acid strip and the efficient detection of V. splendidus open a new way for the prevention and control of aquatic diseases.

ABSTRACT

Transporter-targeted nanoparticulate drug delivery systems (nano-DDS) have emerged as promising nanoplatforms for efficient drug delivery. Recently, great progress in transporter-targeted strategies has been made, especially with the rapid developments in nanotherapeutics. In this review, we outline the recent advances in transporter-targeted nano-DDS. First, the emerging transporter-targeted nano-DDS developed to facilitate oral drug delivery are reviewed. These include improvements in the oral absorption of protein and peptide drugs, facilitating the intravenous-to-oral switch in cancer chemotherapy. Secondly, the recent advances in transporter-assisted brain-targeting nano-DDS are discussed, focusing on the specific transporter-based targeting strategies. Recent developments in transporter-mediated tumor-targeting drug delivery are also discussed. Finally, the possible transport mechanisms involved in transporter-mediated endocytosis are highlighted, with special attention to the latest findings of the interactions between membrane transporters and nano-DDS.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To focus on the situation of clinical pharmacists particpating in the clinical drug treatment consulta-tion in China. METHODS:With the keywords of“clinical pharmacists”,“consultation”and others, retrieved from China Hospital Knowledge Database (CHKD),Wanfang Database and China BioMedical Literature Service System (SinoMed),the situation of clinical pharmacists particpating in the clinical drug treatment consultation in China was concluded and summarized. RESULTS:A total of 186 literatures were included, invloving 114 effective literatures. 2 606 cases were clinical pharmacists particpating in the clinical drug treatment consultation,2 257 cases were all or part of adoption of clinical pharmacists’suggestions, the execution lev-el of clinicians for clinical pharmacists’consultation suggestions reached 93.02%. After carrying out the clinical pharmacists’con-sultation suggestions, patients’condition improved or cured reached 2 290 cases, with the effective rate of 94.47%. CONCLU-SIONS:Clinical pharmacists participating in the clinical consultation has certain function, however, the working method and mode need to be further explored and standarized.
